My new Chucks that I customized on the Converse website arrived a couple days ago:
“Sha-Shoeie!” – DMF
A lot of people don’t know about Daikatana, or they think that it must be awful from all the criticism of it from when it first came out. I hadn’t played it in a long time, and barely played it even when I did, until I came across “Daikatana DM” on John Romero’s website. It’s a 114MB archive of a stripped down version of Daikatana for playing Death Match. It’s loads of fun and very addicting, the engine could use some updating and more resolution options, but the game content and gameplay is great for a game on the Quake II engine. If you like older First Person Shooters then you’ll like it. I started it up and decided to cam a jump video just for fun.

DALLAS, TX – April 23, 2007 The Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL), the pioneer and leader in professional video gaming competitions, today announced a partnership with video game publisher Sierra Entertainment as the title sponsor of the 2007 CPL World Tour, which will debut in Verona, Italy on May 11-13, 2007.
The eight-month 2007 CPL Sierra Entertainment World Tour, boasting a total competitive purse of $500,000, includes stops in Italy, Sweden, the United States, Australia and Brazil, and will culminate with a $300,000 Grand Prize Final event currently planned for New York City.
I want to enter in the Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC), I hope it will hit somewhere near me (Chicago?) during the eight-month tour, I don’t think I could pull off a road trip to Texas or New York just for gaming, even if it is professional.
